Being new to raising kittens, I have tried a variety of canned foods in recent months. Although my kittens readily took to the Fancy Feast brand, it is not the most healthy of foods - my biggest concern being the by-product content. I thought I would never get them off of that kitty krack! However, MUCH to my surprise, they absolutely love this food and ate it readily the first time. And the best part is that it is a very healthy food - no grains, no by-products. There is a little gravy in the bottom of the can so I put a little bit of water in, give it a swirl, put it on top of the food - and whalah - instant broth and MORE water for my babies to lap up which is so vital for avoiding UTI's.
I just can't say enough - good - about this product. Thank you, Wellness. My kittens are happy and that's all that matters!!!

Doesn't do anything for me, but my cat loves it. You have to take my word for it because she cant type.
It arrived in the usual brown box. Opened, to find a nice small tin can. Opened that to find a compressed plastic bag of the catnip tied with a wire wrap like bread. Once I untied the bag, I realized the can would not hold that much open air catnip lol. I had to recompress the catnip into the can as I emptied it. They give as much as will fit.
So I got the can closed again, plastic bag removed and all the catnip inside. Just taking the can and putting it 12 inches away from my sleeping 20 year old cat woke him. He muzzled the can until I got a it away from him, put a tablespoon into an old sock and tied it off, then gave that too him. He has been occupied with it since. The sock is soaking wet from his enthusiasm like he was only 10 years old. I highly recommend, if your cat likes catnip, he will respond. my 20 year old buddy did. I haven't seen him act that way in a long time.
I recommend keeping older cats on a mat of some kind with this, he's rolling around pretty briskly lol.

We (or rather, our cat) has had this mat for over two years. She tends to get cold readily and usually sleeps some or all of the night with us. But the rest of the night, and much of every day, she is on the mat. So we figure it must be warming her. She really seems to like it.
The mat does make little crunching noises when she works it over with her paws before settling into it, but the crunching is not loud, couldn't wake anybody, and is actually sort of pleasant to hear, somehow slightly comical.
It's less garish than it might appear in the photo, not bad at all. After two years, the mat is none the worse for wear.
I can contrast this mat with the SnuggleSafe Heat Pad. While us humans have found that it does a good job of preheating our sheets for our feet in the winter, our cat never seemed to like it at all.
My older cat gets cold in the new house during the winter. When this arrived, I placed it next to the radiator where he has been sleeping thinking he'll try it there. He did!! I didnt think he would sleep on it but he does. I dont feel it creating heat but I'm sure its enough for my little guy to feel. Even if it doesnt, its something fuzzy that is HIS to lay on! My other cat hasnt even set food on it, not sure if its a teritory thing or if its not her idea of a nice place.

My two cats fight over "their" thermal cat mat. I bought two, but they have each claimed one. The only other place they like to curl up is on someone's lap, or in the case of the younger cat, on the cable box. My cats really like this, and it's big enough for even my biggest (25 lbs!) cat. However, they are all really freaked out that it's noisy -- whatever is inside the fabric, it makes crunchy, crinkling noises. But once they are settled on it, they're really happy. It's great!
I bought one like this for my elderly cat who was very arthritic, and in fact could not even jump up to the bed or the counter anymore, so we also got him little pet stairs as well. This seemed to work well to keep him warmer especially at night. After he passed away, one of the dogs was given it. It was put on top of his dog bed out on the backporch, and he seemed to appreciate it especially when the air was cooler.

Our cats love this mat and it's cheaper (and probably safer) than the plug-in kind. I added a photograph to this product page, showing three of our Maine Coons (about 40 pounds of feline pulchritude) heaped together on their thermal mat. They (the mats, not the cats) are a cinch to wash, too.
If you object to cat hair on your furniture, cover your cushions with these mats. Your cats will appreciate that extra bit of reflected body heat, and you won't have so much vacuuming to do.
This is a wonderful item that your cat will love. I originally purchased a thermal mat from another website (more expensive with a pattern that I didn't like). My 3 cats fought over who would get to sleep on it, so I did a search and when I found this one, I ordered one for each of them. This cat mat has been such a hit with my furfaces and is such a great deal that I just ordered 3 more, for my dad, sister and a friend to give to their cats. I've seen similar thermal cat mats for +. The pattern that appears on the super soft side is a dark green with subtle black leopard print and the other side is black faux-sheepskin. My cats like both sides. You can throw them in the washing machine and fur doesn't stick to the smooth patterned side, which is nice. Of all of the cat beds I have purchased, including a heated window-mounted bed that plugged into the wall, this mat is my kitties' favorite thing to sleep on.

This is a great little mat. I got it for my older cat (17 years old), now that her brother is sadly no longer around for snuggling. I don't know if it does the self-heating that it claims to do, but I do know that my cat divides her non-lap time equally between this and the Mysterious Purr Pad.

My 10-year-old cat took about four days to decide whether or not she liked this item. She appeared to like the crinkly-crunchy sound it makes, but she wouldn't stay on it or lie down on it at first. Finally, one cold night, she decided to lie down on it. She evidently liked the warmth, because she went to sleep on it. She only sleeps on it on cold nights, so it must generate some warmth.
I bought one at the local pet store for around .00. My cat really likes it and uses it all the time.
